Moghalmari

Situated 2 miles north from Dantan , ruins of Sasi Sen's Pathsala (School). King Bikramkeshwari's daughter Sasi Sena (Sakhi Sena) met Ahimanik here. Their love story has been written by poet Fakir Ram in his novel.

Samoleswar Mahadeb Temple

Situated half mile away fro Dantan market. Looks like pagoda. This is a very ancient temple.

Bidyadhar Puskarini ( Lake )

This lake is 1600ft long and 1200ft wide. Built by Raja Mukundadeb's minister Bidyadhar.

Sarasanka Dighi ( Lake )

Largest lake in undivided Medinipur district and one of the largest in West Bengal . 5000 ft long and 2500 ft wide , built by King Shasanka (stone inscription). People says there is an under water cave between Sarasanka and Bidyadhar lake (7.5 ft high & 4.5 ft wide).
